Power Consumptions

In 2012 we installed on our manufacturing plant roof
a 100 KW photovoltaic system (nominal value).

In 2018 we doubled the Tesla Powerwall
2 storage batteries (13,5KW each) from 3 to 6 for a total of 81 KW.

We are able to entirely power our factory:
with this energy computers, machinery, lighting and heating systems.

If the energy production is higher than consumption
and the batteries are 100% full the energy gets sold to the national power grid to be used by other users.

Packaging

We’ve been removing plastic material
used to fill bulk products in our warehouse since some years ago.

In 2019 we started a project
to reduce plastic packaging (e.g. PPE or polystyrene protective shells)
preferring mono material systems in FSC certified cardboard.

In 2018 we used in our products 3,4 tons
PPE or polystyrene protective shells. From this year
these material amounts will be drastically reduced.

For years we’ve been
internally practicing
a careful differentiated garbage collection
bringing the garbage
to the dedicated waste collection center.

 
 

For every selled product our company pours money
to the Remedia consortium, a contribution
for the collection and disposal
of our end of life products.
Our direction is to focus on Mini PCs
with lower power consumption
and with less material used for their production.
