A professional notebook often works in front of other people: at a client's office, in a meeting room, at a service desk. The full 180° hinge lets you set it flat on the table and turn the screen towards the person opposite, without standing up and without passing the machine from hand to hand.
14″ WUXGA display / 16:10 aspect ratio
+11% vertical space. Less work out of sight.
The panel shows 1200 pixels in height instead of the 1080 of a Full HD 16:9 display: around 11% more content on screen, with no increase in the notebook's footprint. Those are the spreadsheet rows you don't have to scroll to find, the body of an email you read in one go.
The anti-glare treatment keeps text readable even with a window behind you, and IPS technology holds colours accurate when the screen is viewed from an angle: useful when you're not the only one reading. On the C1406T the same panel is a touchscreen.

FAQ
C1406 o C1406T?
What's the main difference between the C1406 and the C1406T?
The C1406T has a touch display and charges over USB-C, so a single cable can power it and connect a monitor. The C1406 has a higher-tier processor, Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H instead of the Core™ Ultra 5 125U. Neither model is more complete than the other: what changes is the kind of work it's meant for.
Which of the two should you choose?
If the load is on the processor — many applications open, data processing, development — the C1406 offers more power. If the work happens in front of someone else, presenting, annotating or collecting signatures, the touch display and single-cable charging of the C1406T will change your day more than a few percentage points of performance.
Can the C1406 connect an external monitor over USB-C?
No: on the C1406 the USB-C port handles data only, and video output is over HDMI. Monitor connection over USB-C, with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, is available on the C1406T.
Can memory be expanded after purchase?
Yes. Memory isn't soldered: two accessible SODIMM slots allow you to reach 64 GB at any point, without replacing the notebook. Storage uses a single M.2 NVMe slot.
Is it suitable for graphics or design work?
The integrated Intel Arc graphics comfortably cover office work, presentations and content production. CAD, 3D modelling and professional video editing call for a dedicated graphics card, which these models don't offer — for that, the SiComputer range includes the Nauta W series.
